If you wanted your potatoes a bit crispier, feel free to keep them in the air fryer a few more minutes. The photo below was taken after 5 minutes. Maybe it’s because Cavender’s is from my home state of Arkansas, but I love the stuff! In this case, we’re taking a shortcut with the same Cavender’s Greek seasoning I used for my Ninja Foodi Greek Chicken recipe. There’s a time and place for making your own seasoning blend, and a time for taking shortcuts. Step 2: Add the air fried potatoes back to the bowl and toss with Greek seasoning. You could also save the lemon juice for after baking and go directly on a baking sheet like in my Five Guys cajun fries recipe. Then bake them at 450✯ for maybe 20-25 minutes and broil for 2-3 minutes if you like them crispy. While I’ve not tested it, I’m sure you could toss the potatoes in the olive oil, lemon, and seasoning before adding to a shallow baking dish. Can I make these Greek potatoes in the oven? I tested the recipe with Russet potatoes and added a few minutes in the air fryer to break down the starch a bit more. I highly suggest sticking to baby gold or Yukon gold potatoes for these Greek lemon potatoes, but the recipe will work with other potatoes if that’s all you have on hand. Once you air fry the potatoes and add them back to the bowl, they’ll soak up every bit of goodness along with the Greek seasoning you’ll add in step 2. You’ll lose lots of flavor! You can get an idea of how much olive oil/lemon juice you should have left in the mixing bowl in the photo above.
